I love to write. I feel like it gives me the opportunity to express myself in a way that sometimes spoken word can’t. With this story, I aimed to share my unique experience in a way that could paint a picture. Kyrie Irving, one of my now former favorite athletes and I shared an experience together at a Celtics game a few years ago that I will never forget. For an athlete who is so misunderstood by the media and fans alike, I felt that after our shared experience at that January night game, I truly learned what Irving values the most in his life.
